The Big Picture

The over all goal is simple, to create a product that will capture your audience to earn you more business.  A website is a tool and, as we all know, there are effective tools and then there are those that stay in the tool box that are never touched.  Like most tools, they can be a bit pricy so it is up to you to figure out what price range is most effective for you.

Some questions that you need to ask yourself are:

  • Do I have a domain?
  • Do I have a host?
  • Do I want to maintain my own site?
  • Do I want to post my own material?
  • Do I have social media setup (facebook, twitter, etc…)?
  • Do I have a logo ready to go?
  • Do I have a color scheme in mind?

These are all very important questions that I can help you with so there is no need to panic. Let’s just take it a step at a time.  Now depending on what the goal of your website is, I can help you learn the background so you can take care of most of it yourself.  Taking care of a website can sound pretty intimidating, however, with the use of platforms like WordPress and Joomla it makes it much more simple than one may think.

Your GOAL!

The first question you need to ask yourself is… “What do I need in order to accomplish my goals?”

This is going to be the hardest question to answer because there are so many different way to approach a task.  One thing that you need to realize is you have less than a minute to engage your customer to keep them on the site.  If you loose the customers’ interest all they need to do is press the back button to click on the next link in line on the Google search.  Our goal is to get as much information as possible into the hands of the customer within that first minute.

Now that we have the big question answered,  we need to figure out how to implement your new approach and simplify it as much as we can.  This can be a daunting task but will aid in the task of intriguing your customer!

These can be tough questions and I am here to help you figure out a plan to make your website successful!
